Hastens Showroom - Wigmore St, London

Client Hästens
Location Wigmore St, London
When April 2021
Duration 1 Day

Back in the spring, we were invited to a new showroom on Wigmore Street in London to photograph a new store concept for the world’s most exclusive bed company, Håstens. It was certainly an eye-opener and Ryan found it a refreshing challenge. This Swedish company of craftsmen have been around since Victorian times and beds can come in at up to £300,000 (!) so there was a responsibility here to showcase the brand in all its glory. Achieving striking images in the context of the showroom can sometimes be tricky but Ryan was able to encapsulate the essence of Håstens in these images and showcased the new store layout and design.

The worlds most expensive bed -the Grand Vividus was the main attraction. The knockout in these images features the signature blue and white checked fabric but it is available in three other incredible colour pallets. ‘Live life well’ is the motto that underpins what this bed is all about. I think I’d certainly expect the best night sleep I’ve ever had. World-renowned designer Ferris Rafauli has collaborated on this one and it purrs with pure luxury.

History meets art and design in the Håstens world and the iconic horse insignia still stands proud amongst the contemporary and innovative, popping up amongst the luxurious finishes and ever so scrumptious bedding in these images. A work of art for the bedroom, at every turn there’s a reminder of the art of homemaking. We thought the pillow wall was pretty special exhibiting a rainbow of cosy colours in blocks of comfortable perfection.

I’ll leave you with a pretty nifty tip that Ryan picked up whilst on set too. The trick to crease-free bedding for shoots - a spray bottle of water. Spritz lightly and pull out the creases easy peas lemon squeezy!

If you would like images like this of your commercial space, please get in touch. We would love to hear from you.
